You will be met at the airport by one of our native guides trained in Amazon ecology. On the way to the dock you will make a brief tour of this XIX century colonial city, and its main places of interest. At the dock you board a typical "Pamacari" boat and start your trip of an hour and a quarter down the Amazon. The Amazon River is 4,000 miles long, and you will see interesting places during the boat ride to the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge, which is built in the native style, and is set in the middle of a tropical garden surrounded by thick vegetation.

Iquitos
If you love nature, Iquitos is the right place for you! Situated 1.009 km northeast of Lima, it's the main fluvial harbor of Peru, where one can stay at amazing jungle hotels, in intimate contact with the forest's inhabitants such as: monkeys, birds, fish, flowers etc. The Indians there make their own typical craftworks and the flavors of Iquitos and region can be tasted in their food and drinks. The Ecotourism there is very well structured and tourists can take cruises through the Amazon river and visit Indian tribes, natural reserves and learn a lot about this life in this awesome place!

Our personnel will meet and greet you at the airport.
Transfer to the river dock where you will begin the trip to our lodge.
Along the way you will briefly sightsee Iquitos, looking at the most important tourist sites of this representative Peru’s orient city founded in the XIX Century.
Navigate on the greatest world river, the Amazon, aboard comfortable and safe motorboats. The trip will allow you to see a marvelous panorama in which the magnificence of the Amazon makes its way through the exuberance of the jungle, where picturesque villages with their particular color and joy appear on the shores of the river.
02 Days – 01 Nights
Reception at the airport, brief city orientation and transfer to the Explorama dock. Twenty-five mile journey down the Amazon River to Ceiba Tops, where rooms with air conditioning and private bathrooms provide the comforts of home in the rainforest. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding the lodge including many huge trees festooned with epiphytes. After dinner there may be local flute or guitar music at the El Toucan Bar or the guides are always ready to relay some of the many legends of the Amazon forest to the guests.

Overnight Ceiba Tops
04 Days – 03 Nights
Reception at the airport, brief city orientation and transfer to the Explorama dock. Twenty-five mile journey down the Amazon River to Ceiba Tops where private rooms with air conditioning and hot water provide all of the comforts of home. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding Ceiba Tops which includes many huge trees festooned with epiphytes. After dinner there may be local flute or guitar music at the El Toucan Bar or the guides are always ready to relate some of the many legends of the Amazon forest.
03 days / 02 nights
You will easily find our staff waiting for you in Muyuna’s counter in the Iquitos Airport. Immediately, the guide will take you to the harbor in nice buses while you look at the city of Iquitos.
Our speed boats will be waiting for you, ready to travel three hours upriver on the Amazon.
Muyuna staff will be ready to welcome you with a typical and cold drink after arriving at the lodge.
After settling into your bungalow and having lunch, finally you will start your trip. A check list with the animals that have been previously seen will be provided.
